Jasper Doest
Jasper Doest is a self-taught photographer who currently resides in The Netherlands. He travels throughout the world focusing his lens on wildlife, travel and environmental conservation. His work has been featured in National Geographic Magazine, The National History Museum, BBC Wildlife Magazine and The British Journal of Photography.
To explain his work Jasper says, “I owe a lot to the natural world, and photography is my way to give something back.” That appreciation is clear throughout his photography, with so many of his pieces capturing the simultaneous fragility and splendor of nature. Jasper has also created workshops for photographers with all levels of experience.
His photography has received numerous awards, including The Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the year award, GDT European Nature Photographer of the year award and the Travel Photographer of the year in the category of Wild Stories. For the third year in a row Jasper’s work has been selected to appear in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. The exhibition will begin in London, travel throughout the UK, then embark on an international tour.
