Shelter Dogs for Experimentation

Many states allow the purchase of shelter dogs to university and pharmaceutical labs for experimentation. This is called “pound seizure” and is one more reason to adopt a dog from a shelter. These animals are sold directly to labs by shelters, or purchased from shady “Class B dealers”, who buy dogs from “random sources” which includes shelters, auctions, breeders. newspaper ads or online. Some of the dogs these dealers obtain are also stolen from loving homes. I can’t imagine a worse fate for a dog that has ended up in a shelter? to be abandoned and then tortured. Please adopt from your local shelter.
